Description

A mix between singletrack and doubletrack, this trail leads through a burn area left by the Buffalo Creek Fire in the '90s. The trail follows along a section of the Colorado Trail to Chair Rocks and an overlook of the South Platte area. The hike is very scenic.<br />
This trail is a multi-use trail so please watch out for mountain bike traffic, and practice trail etiquette.

Directions

Go 6.8 miles south of Conifer on US285 to Pine Valley Road (just a couple of miles past Schaffers Crossing) and turn left (southeast). There’s a light and a turn lane at Pine Valley so it’s hard to miss. <br />Go about 10 miles to the town of Buffalo Creek. Keep going just about another four miles and look for the Parking Lot on the right. <br />
